Congratulations to Jen & Matt
Tuesday, March 4th, 2008Jen Madjarov and Matt McCormick will be exchanging vows in May and have selected photographs by Holly Andres as part of the their wedding registry.
A personal note from the couple:
Thank you for checking out our art registry, we hope you enjoy these works as much as we do. We already have a kitchen overflowing with pots, pans, and cooking gadgets (although Matt is still hoping for a waffle maker), so instead we thought we’d enlist your help in finding something amazing to put on our walls.
We both have a real connection to art: Jen’s grandparents were both recognized artists in the Czech Republic and her aunt, Dana Lichtag, continues to paint beautiful abstract oil paintings (check out http://lichtag.net/). And while Matt hasn’t picked up a paintbrush in years, his high school painting of jazz musician Robert Johnson just may have been the reason why Jen fell in love with Matt in the first place.
We hope that you will contribute to the start of our art collection. We know that these two photographs of ‘Fiona’ and ‘Calvin’ by Portland-based photographer, Holly Andres, will be a life-long reminder of our special day and the wonderful group of people with whom we shared it.
