Billed as the “ultimate art shopping event of the fall,” Los Angeles’ Domino Bazaar kicks off next Thursday, October 16 and runs through Sunday the 19. Sponsored by Domino magazine, the weekend-long sale benefits the AIDS Community Research Initiative of America, and features artwork from some of the most celebrated names in contemporary art and design. Among the artists chosen to participate in the bazaar’s silent auction are Quality Pictures’ Holly Andres, Brian Ulrich, and B.E. Schellinger. (Andres and Ulrich are both debuting new photographs at the event.) Over 50 works will be up for grabs, including pieces by Tina Barney, Christopher Wool, and Julian Schnabel, as well as home furnishings and accessories chosen by the editors of Domino.
